Camp was this week and everyone survived. We had a great time. I’ll try to write on this when I get some sleep. For now, we could use prayer about the camp finances.

I get the occasional email about book reviews, but don't usually take the bait, so to speak. I love reading, but just don't have a lot of time to invest in the kind of reading I feel is important for a solid review. Just gave the boy a haircut. He’ll be pretty comfy at camp. Now I’m wishing I had sometime to get mine sheered off. Oh well, at least my hair is long enough to put up for camp. Combined with my new shoes I ought to be plenty cool and comfy.
Mood: Overwhelmed
Got some new shoes yesterday. The Vibram 5 Finger KSO. If yo don’t know about them, they have a more glove like construction. Each toe has it’s own little home, and the sole is pretty thin and conformed to be more like bare feet. All in all it doesn’t feel like I have shoes on, they are actually less noticeable than socks, well maybe not the really low profile socks. In any case, I’m hoping they help ease foot discomfort at camp. Click through for details.
I added my avatar to status updates on my site. Twenty Eleven does this and I thought it was a really cool feature. I like how it turned out. Planning a couple of posts because it has been too long.

Love Wins, but maybe I’m wrong
A week or so ago I posted a video from Francis Chan called "Erasing Hell." I said that much of what he said is very challenging to me. Actually I said it really kicked my butt. I'm very excited about the book he is writing. Anyways, this prompted a contact from someone wanting to know more about what I was thinking on the matter so he could read/comment.
