In reply to <a href="https://nickgeek.com/growing-not-young-together/#comment-408">Nick the Geek</a>.

Farmville is from the devil. Seriously. My wife comes home and plays it until her fingers go numb. And then she takes off her shoes and uses her toes. It's not pretty.

Command & Conquer is a much better way to spend your time.

I know what you mean. Psychology and Sociology will try to tell us that our behavior is strictly defined by the environment we grew up and live in. Yet, I think of Joseph. With all the crap that happened to him, he never once complained. Nor did he have a bad attitude or ever curse God.

We once went to a "Weekend to Remember" conference headed by Family Life and one of the images I remember is when a married couple got up on the stage holding a rope, and the speaker said, "Every time I cut the rope, that represents a conflict in the marriage." So he would cut here and there, but after each cut, tie it back together where ever he cut it. By the end the husband and wife were standing next to each other because the tied knots brought them closer together.

Anyways, good post and I'll see you on over at SCL.

Hi Susan! Thanks for sharing Nick and his geekitude with all of us imaginary friends. I should also probably thank you for putting up with him so that we can enjoy his crazy schemes.

Welcome to blogland. It may not have Farmville, but it's got a nice aroma.

I think farmville might have to be one of those things I don't investigate. Those vegetables just might hold me hostage more than they do in my non-virtual life.
